LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Rick Jones, R-Grand Ledge, met with area educators and authors, Shannon Cooper-Toma (left) and Tracy Foster (right) on Wednesday. The pair are a part of the Corunna Public School District and coauthored Benson’s Adventures in Michigan, a children’s book featuring Michigan landmarks and vacation destinations. Jones supports the effort to educate children about travel opportunities in Michigan, as well as the rest of the country and abroad.
